Follow the law where you are

Follow all local, state and federal laws and regulations when you post, buy or sell. You're responsible for making sure what you list is legal to sell where you live, and for anything that needs a license, permit, background check or age check. When in doubt, check your local rules before you post.

Never allowed

• Drug sales: illegal drugs, prescription medicine, and marijuana or THC products.
• Sex for sale: prostitution, escorts, "massage" offers, other adult services, and sexual content.

How to treat neighbors

• No scams or fake listings, and describe items honestly.
• No threats, harassment or hate.
• Don't share other people's personal information.
• Housing ads can't exclude people based on race, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin (that's federal fair-housing law).

Posts that break these rules are removed, and repeated or serious violations close the account. If you see one, use "Report" on it. The marketplace is for people 18 and older.
